The medicine is used intranasally.
Rinoxil® Baby nasal drops 0.01% are intended for children under 1 year of age.
For infants up to 4 weeks of age, administer 1 drop into each nostril twice daily.
From the 5th week of life up to 1 year, administer 1–2 drops into each nostril twice daily.
The medicine should not be used more than twice a day.
Before use, the bottle should be turned upside down. The drops should be administered with the child’s head tilted back.
Immediately before use, hold the bottle in your hand to warm it to body temperature. Before administration, the nose should be thoroughly cleaned.
The effectiveness of the following method has also been proven: depending on age, 1–2 drops of Rinoxil® Baby are applied to cotton and each nostril is gently wiped.
At the recommended dose, without consulting a doctor, the medicine may be used for no longer than 3–5 days. If symptoms worsen or no improvement occurs within 3 days, a doctor should be consulted. Repeated use is possible only after several days.
Use of the medicine at doses higher than recommended is allowed only under medical supervision.
